Hargeisa Local Government Hargeisa District, classified as a Grade A district, serves as the capital and largest city of Somaliland with an estimated population of approximately 1.8 million people Covering an area of 120 sq km, the city consists of nine sub-districts and surrounding villages, totaling 10 administrative clusters Notable sub-districts include Ga’an-Libah, Mohamoud Haybe, Kodbur, Ahmed Dhagah, 31 May, Mohamed Haybe, Mohamed Mooge, 26 Juun, and Gacma Dhere Additionally, outlying villages under Hargeisa’s jurisdiction include Darasalam, Farawayne, Da’ar Buduq, Cadadley, Sabawanag, Bali Matan, and Da’arta.
