Secours Islamique France
About us
Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) of international solidarity with a social and humanitarian vocation acting in the fields of humanitarian assistance and development aid, in France and in the world . . Our actions are intended to support anyone in need, without proselytism or distinction of gender, religion, culture. We intervene in emergencies, by responding to the basic needs of the most vulnerable people, and in development, by providing people with the means to be autonomous. By 2021, we had supported over 12 million vulnerable people in almost 50 countries. Each year, we operate in around twenty countries. To support the most vulnerable, our teams rely on their skills in many areas: water, hygiene and sanitation; education and child protection, orphan sponsorship program; shelter and rehabilitation; food security and the fight against hunger; social support with a view to gradual and sustainable reintegration; advocacy actions with decision-makers and institutions.
