About us

The Berbera Local Government is the municipal authority responsible for administering Berbera District, managing local services, taxation, permits, civil registration, urban planning, and community development. It serves one of Somaliland’s most important cities, home to the strategic Port of Berbera on the Gulf of Aden, and has become notable for efforts to modernize municipal services and strengthen local governance.
