About us

EUCAP Somalia (European Union Capacity Building Mission in Somalia) is a civilian mission of the European Union established in 2012. Its primary objective is to strengthen Somalia's internal security and rule of law by supporting the development of the Somali Police Force and maritime security institutions. The mission provides strategic advice, training, mentoring, and technical assistance to Somali authorities. It is headquartered in Mogadishu, with field offices in Hargeisa (Somaliland) and Bosaso (Puntland).
