Background:

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (“FAO” or “Organization”) is an intergovernmental organization with more than 191 member nations. Since its inception, FAO has worked to alleviate poverty and hunger by promoting agricultural development, improved nutrition and the pursuit of food security - defined as the access of all people at all times to the food they need for an active and healthy life. 

FAO-Somalia is committed to expanding its supplier reach across all levels and enhancing a competitive, transparent procurement process that promotes equal opportunity.

OBJECTIVE

FAO-Somalia invites existing and prospective suppliers to register for the 2026 Supplier Database Update. This initiative aims to:

• Maintain an up-to-date database of qualified suppliers

• Identify capable suppliers across all sectors in Somalia

• Expand opportunities for local and international businesses

ELIGIBILITY

Registration is open to all legally registered entities operating in Somalia, including:

• Goods suppliers

• Service providers

• Contractors for works

• Constantly Firms

Note: Registration does not guarantee business; it serves as an expression of interest.

Interested suppliers/Services providers and Contractors are requested to complete the registration in three simple steps: 

STEP 1: Open the form using the registration link from any device.

STEP 2: Complete all fields and ensure to provide accurate company and compliance details

STEP 3: Submit…. FAO Somalia will review the information and confirm your entry.
