Introduction

Country: Djibouti 

The present mission consists of supporting an international expert in carrying out an in-depth study on the private sector and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Djibouti, with a view to promoting a more resilient, competitive and inclusive private sector.

The national consultant will be responsible for actively contributing to the collection, documentation, and analysis of data relating to the national economic fabric, as well as mapping key actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. They will participate in identifying structural constraints affecting private sector development, particularly in terms of regulation, taxation, financing, and access to infrastructure.

Working closely with the international expert, the consultant will contribute to the analysis of company and entrepreneur profiles, the evaluation of existing financing mechanisms, and the formulation of operational recommendations tailored to the Djiboutian context. The assignment also includes participating in stakeholder interviews, facilitating participatory workshops, and drafting various reports.
