JOB PURPOSE:
The incumbent will support and report on all beneficiary management activities. He/she will provide technical support for the planning and implementation of, beneficiary registrations and distributions end-to-end through Digital Assistance Services (DAS). Provision of Digital Assistance Services will include not only WFP corporate services but also other solutions including interactions with other agencies like UNHCR
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive):
Work with all stakeholders in the office to understand the business requirements and plan related activities.
Support an efficient implementation of programmes, leveraging the DAS platform and other solutions.
Capacity building to ensure that the office has the capacity to implement DAS with minimal support from the country office
Capacity building for cooperating partners to enable them to support in beneficiary registrations and distributions as needed.
Assess cards and equipment requirements to ensure continuous provision to support operations
Provide technical support to DAS operations
Analyze requirements and plan support for implementation across the country with other stakeholders
Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and service providers to define needs and select appropriate partners for the execution of our DAS operations
Work with field offices to prepare and execute DAS implement plans in coordination with all stakeholders.
Gather data, analyze and produce compelling reports and dashboard to provide facts about implementations and inform strategic decisions on programmes.
Perform other related duties as required
Keep abreast of emerging, mature, declining and obsolete IT technologies to participate in the design of IT solutions following best practices and techniques to meet business needs.
Coordinate the design and development of new IT solutions and participate in gathering requirements to meet WFP business needs and follow corporate standards.
Coordinate quality assurance on IT solutions to ensure compliance with organisational IT policies and procedures.
Coordinate, guide and coach the IT solutions development team to build depth of technical expertise across the function and to deliver integrated solutions to quality, time and cost mutually agreed between the business and IT.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area.
Experience:
Five or more years of progressively responsible work experience in digital solutions, data management and relevant work streams.
Desirables:
Has experience analysing service management results and development service enhancement recommendations.
Has participated in business process re-engineering efforts and identified service management improvements.
Language:
Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and in the duty station’s language, if different. Knowledge of Somali language is an advantage.
