Formal Education Network for Private Schools (FENPS) invites passionate individuals to apply for the role of Consultant for our Community Education Committee (CEC) and Community Members Training on School Governance. At FENPS, we are committed to addressing the unique needs of vulnerable groups, particularly children, in Somalia. Through education and advocacy, we envision a society where every child has access to quality education and is safeguarded against abuse.

Role Overview:

As a Consultant, you will lead three-day training sessions for 130 CEC members from 26 schools in the Deynile and Kahda districts of Banadir region. This assignment aims to equip community members with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively govern schools and create nurturing learning environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in social science

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in social services and humanitarian aid work

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training modules on school governance

  • Facilitate interactive sessions to engage CEC members in capacity building

  • Provide guidance and support to empower communities in promoting education

  • Prepare written reports documenting training outcomes and recommendations
